Event 2015 CIE/USA-DFW Annual Convention - August 15, 2015, Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel, 900 E Lookout Dr, Richardson, TX 75082

The 2015 Annual Convention is a celebration of the services that CIE/USA-DFW has delivered to the DFW community, and to affirm the partnership we have with industry, universities, government and community in which our members live and work. The convention will feature fall technical symposium, VIP reception, evening ceremony and technical forum.

Event 2015 CIE/USA-DFW Young Achiever Award (YAA) - August 15, 2014, 6:30PM-9:00PM, Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel, 900 E Lookout Dr, Richardson, TX 75082

Young Achiever Award (YAA) promotes and recognizes exceptional academic excellence in STEM, and active involvement of extra-curricular activities and community services of the youths. The award is to recognize students of 10th and 11th grade with top academic achievements at school, outstanding engineering and science accomplishments, demonstrated leadership and active involvement of community services. The award will be presented at the CIE/USA-DFW 2015 Annual Convention evening banquet at Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel on August 15, 2014.

Event 2015 Community Youth Leadeship Club (CYLC) Camp - July 20 - 25, 2015, TAMU - Commerce

The purpose of Community Youth Leadeship Club (CYLC) Camp is to give direction and guidance while building confidence through enhancing communication and team building skills in aspiring Chinese American youth. To prepare Chinese American young leaders for the main stream community and reinforce their pride in being Chinese American. The application will be open on January 12, 2015. Event 2015 CIE/USA-DFW MathComp/MathFun - June 6, 2015, Collin College Spring Creek Campus

The Annual MathComp/MathFun and Parenting Seminar is the flagship CIE/USA-DFW youth program attracting participation of about a thousand students, parents, educators and volunteers each year. This goal of this grand math fair is composed of 3 events: (a) a math competition, (b) a math fun fair and (c) a parenting seminar. The main goal is the simulate interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects within the youth at their early ages.

Event 2015 CIE/USA-DFW Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP) - March 29, 2015, UT Dallas, 800 W. Campbell Rd. Richardson TX 75081

The Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP) event is one of the long-standing CIE/USA-DFW events featuring "Leadership" and "Career Mentoring" for young professionals. This event is especially designed for graduating university students and young professionals who desire to enhance their knowledge and hand-on experience on hiring process, career development, corporate culture, and leadership.
