Based on the feedback after last meeting, the participants suggested to have more time for group bounding. Therefore, we will modified the meeting format so that we will have more time on interaction. The agenda of the meeting is as following:
1. Opening (2 minutes)
2. Guest Speaker: Charlie Chen, President and CEO of DFW Technology
Mr. Chen, like most of us, started as an engineer; then moved on to start DFW Technology. In addition to a hands-on experience on starting and managing a corporation, he also has an unique view on what are the difference between a "Mom-and-Pop" type of business and an enterprise.
(20 minutes plus 10 minutes for Q&A)
3. Breakout Tables (Plan to form four groups: IT, Microelectronics, Business, and "TBD") (70 minutes)
4. Open Discussions as a Group (20 minutes)
Topics for open discussions can be the following, but not limited to:
a. Troubles or experience in job searching
b. Tips that help you (in job searching, life, etc.)
c. New leads, areas, opportunities, etc.
d. Ideas for Projects, products.
