| The objective of the annual CYLC Youth Leadership Camp is to provide the youth a safe environment to build up friendships, cooperation, and social skills among group activities. Through the activities youth should learn self discipline and communication skills to empower them to take responsibility for their behavior. The camp also encourages youth for creative expression to find conflict solution, collaborate with peers, accountability and trust, and strengthens their confident of goal setting and decision making through the camp activities and team-building. This year's CYLC Youth Leadership Camp will be held July 25 - 30, 2011 at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. The theme of this year's camp is "Courage".
