Job Title: Call Processing Engineer – Wireless Network

Position Description

We are looking for a Call Processing engineer to join our core Wireless engineering team. He or she will be a key contributor on a multi-functional team of R&D, Integration, and Field Support Engineers to introduce LTE/WiMAX/CDMA products to a Wireless Carrier. He or she will be responsible for testing LTE/WiMAX/CDMA access network and also responsible for validating various protocols over all the interfaces in these access networks. He or she will also be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and then into high level design. He or she will perform test activities in the customer’s lab and field deployments. Travel to the customer and field locations will occur as necessary to perform job functions. Interaction with the customer will also be necessary.

Qualifications

Experience with wireless networks, architecture and protocols

Strong knowledge in LTE, WiMAX, CDMA and network architecture

Strong knowledge in Call Processing and Access network protocols.

Experience with Layer2 and Layer3 protocols

Experience with system design and development

Experience with system analysis and performance analysis

Understanding of Modulation and coding in wireless network is required

Experience with resource management, location management

Experience with Scheduling, Traffic management, capacity analysis and backhaul

Experience with IP QoS, End-to-End QoS

Experience with MIP, SIP/RTP and TCP/IP suite is desired

Experience with performance evaluation and network optimization

Ability to translate standards into product requirement

Ability to convert customer requirements into high level system level design

Ability to perform simulations to analyze capacity and capabilities of the systems

General Qualifications

OFDMA or CDMA background required

Experience with C/C++ development

Experience with protocol analyzers

3GPP & 3GPP2 Understanding

Understanding of HW as well as SW architecture

Able to work hands on with the equipment in the vendor and customer’s lab

Ability to provide technical direction to other Engineers

Ability to work and communicate with a broad set of team members of varying knowledge base

Ability to travel sporadically during the project

Job Title: EMS Engineer – Wireless

Position Description

We are looking for a EMS-ONM engineer to join our core Wireless engineering team. He or she will be a key contributor on a multi-functional team of R&D, Integration, and Field Support Engineers to introduce LTE/CDMA/WiMAX products to a Wireless Carrier. He or she will be mainly responsible for OAMP of LTE/CDMA/WiMAX access networks. Understanding of the SW and HW implementation will be necessary to define various Operation Measurements, SW as well as HW faults and configuration parameters of the system. He or she will be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and then to high level design. He or she will have hands on with technology in the customer’s lab and field deployments. Travel to the customer and field locations will occur as necessary to perform job functions. Interaction with the customer will also be necessary.

Qualifications

Experience with OAMP subsystem design and development in wireless networks

Experience with NMS/EMS design and development

Experience with SNMP and TNM protocols

Experience with fault management, fault collapsing, and redundancy

Experience with configuration management and performance management

Experience with service oriented architecture and design

Experience with Graphical User Interface design

Exposure to High Availability and redundancy systems

Understanding of TMN architecture and interfaces

Understanding of wireless networks, architecture and protocols is required

Basic understanding of call processing in wireless networks is desired

Understanding of wireless network architecture/protocols is desired

Experience with system monitoring and maintenance

Ability to translate standards into product requirement

Ability to convert customer requirements into high level system level design

General Qualifications

OFDM or CDMA background desired

Experience with C/C++/Java development

Experience with scripting: PERL, shell, TCL, AWK etc

Experience with socket programming

Good understanding of Sun Solaris operating System and Linux.

Understanding of hardware architecture and software architecture

Able to work hands on with the equipment in the vendor and customer’s lab

Ability to provide technical direction to other Engineers

Jobe Title: RF Engineer – Wireless

Position Description

We are looking for a RF engineer to join our core Wireless engineering team. He or she will be a key contributor on a multi-functional team of R&D, Integration, and Field Support Engineers to introduce LTE/WiMAX/CDMA products to a Wireless Carrier. He or she will be responsible for RF Engineer for LTE/WiMAX/CDMA access technologies. He or she will be responsible for RF specification discussions, creating test plans and supporting RF testing activities. He or she will also be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and then into high level design. He or she will have hands on with technology in the customer’s lab and field deployments. Travel to the customer and field locations will occur as necessary to perform job functions. Interaction with the customer will also be necessary.

Qualifications

Experience with wireless networks, architecture and protocols

Expertise in link budgets, spectral mask and other RF metrics

Expertise in coverage analysis, RF design for trail/commercial networks

Expertise in interference avoidance as well as interference cancellation techniques

Expertise in antenna technologies MIMO, MU-MIMO and Beam forming

Expertise in of Modulation and coding in wireless network is required

Experience in TDD as well as FDD wireless systems

Experience in OFDMA/CDMA/FDMA systems

Experience in physical layer protocols like Hybrid ARQ

Experience in certifications like FCC, UL, NEBS, Bellcore

Understanding wireless protocols is required.

Knowledge Layer2 and higher protocols is desired.

Experience with performance evaluation and network optimization

Expertise in creating test plans and analysis of network performance

Ability to translate standards into product requirement

Ability to convert customer requirements into high level system level design

Ability to perform simulations to analyze capacity and capabilities of the systems

Job Title: System Engineer – Wireless

Position Description

We are looking for a system engineer to join our core CDMA/LTE/IMS/WiMAX engineering team. He or she will be responsible for defining CDMA/LTE/IMS/WiMAX core network architecture as well as the architecture of various network elements. Understanding of the SW and HW implementation as well as theoretical analysis of the protocols, products will be necessary to analyze the performance of various Network elements. He or she will also be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and system level design of the requirements. He or she will be responsible for negotiating feature requirements, product requirements, KPI and protocol specifications with customers. Travel to the customer and field locations will occur as necessary to perform job functions. Interaction with the customer will also be necessary.

Qualifications

Experience with wireless core networks, architecture and protocols

Experience with IEEE 802.16e, WiMAX profiles

Experience with WiMAX network architecture and interface protocols

Experience with 3GPP LTE EPC architecture and interface protocols

Experience with 3GPP IMS architecture and interface protocols

Experience with 3GPP2 CDMA core network architecture and interface protocols

Experience with AAA: Radius/Diameter/PKM/EAP protocols

Experience with IP QoS, End-to-End QoS and traffic shaping, preferably in wireless networks

Experience with COPS as well as 3GPP/IETF QoS related protocols

Experience with security/encryption in IP networks

Experience with TEK/AES/X.509 digital certificates

Experience with IP mobility and Expertise in Mobile IP

Experience with SIP/RTP/RTCP/TCP/UDP/IP/IPv6/IPsec/L2TP/PPP

Experience with VoIP networks
