What: NTGTS January 2006 Monthly Networking Event When: Thursday, January 19, 2006 Time: 6-8 PM CST Where: The Richardson Hotel, 701 East Campbell Road, Richardson, TX Speaker: Mr. John McGinnis, Senior Vice President, AvidWireless.

Topic: Mr. McGinnis will discuss Intelligent Wireless Information Directors (IWID) and how this type of RFID technology works with a broad range of remote monitoring equipment and data networks, including cellular, satellite, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.

Speaker Bio: Mr. John McGinnis is Senior Vice President of AvidWireless. He joined AVIDWireless in January of 2002 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing to help increase sales and was promoted in 2004 to Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. His vast experience spans several major industries, ranging from telecommunications, to distribution, financial, medical, manufacturing and services. NTGTS will meet in the newly renovated Boots & Brix lounge area of the hotel. There will be door prize drawings, a cash bar, and light hors d'oeuvres provided by the hotel. Drink specials from 5-7 p.m. CT are: House wine and rail drinks 50% off. NTGTS members are FREE and the fee is $5 for Non-Members. Payments are taken at the door only for this event. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted. If you attend this event and sign up for NTGTS membership or renew your membership, there will be a special discounted rate accorded to you. The discount is half-off any of the individual membership tiers, including, Basic, Academic/Government/Non-Profit/Military, Retired/Unemployed, and Student.
