With the development of computer technology, medicinal chemistry, molecular biology and computational chemistry during the last decades, Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD) has become an exciting research area in drug discovery. It is as an emerging field with the potential to significantly improve how drugs are found, brought to clinical trials and eventually released to the marketplace. The seminar will give a brief introduction of some CADD methods including chemical database search, drug-receptor docking, de-novo design and quantitative structure-activity relationships.
