Abstract in Chinese:
从20世纪90年代以来，随着计算机技术的发展以及药物化学、分子生物学和计算化学的发展，计算机辅助药物设计（Computer Aided Drug Design, CADD） 已经发展成为一门新兴的研究领域。CADD的发展和应用，大大促进了药物设计和新药开发的效率。CADD已成为一种實用的药物设计工具，在新药研发中起着越来越重要的作用。该讲座将简要介绍化學结构数据库搜索，藥物分子模型设计和定量构效关系等计算机辅助药物设计的方法和应用。

English Bio for Dr. Zixia Feng:
Zixia Feng, Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from University of Tennessee, M.S. from Shanghai Fu Dan University, B.S. from China Pharmaceutical University. He was a lecturer at College of Pharmacy, Fu Dan University and a Postdoctoral research scientist at DuPont-Merck Pharmaceutical Company. Currently he is a Principal Scientist at Alcon Laboratories. He has been working on the drug design and synthesis for many years has achievements in discovery of cardiovascular and ophthalmology drugs, particularly in anti-coagulant and anti-glaucoma drugs. He has published more than twenty patents and research paper and is a lead scientist in some discovery and research projects.

Chinese Bio for 冯子侠博士
冯子侠，中国药科大学药物化学学士，上海复旦大学药物化学硕士，美国田纳西大学药物化学博士。曾任复旦大学药学院讲师，美国杜邦-默克制药公司博士后研究 员等职，现任美国爱尔康制药公司主管研究员。他长期从事新药的设计和合成工 作，在心血管药物的研发方面，尤其在新型硼酸类抗凝血药物领域取得了独特的成就。最近十多年来他在世界上最大的爱尔康眼科药物研究中心专注于眼科新药的设计和合成，发明了新型的化合物作为抗青光眼药物，以及新型的细胞膜稳定剂作为抗过敏药物等。发表专利和学术文章二十余篇，是多项发明和研究项目的首席科学家。
