"Telecom Outsource in China" and "Ajax"

“The Chinese Institute of Engineers Dallas/Fort Worth Area Chapter will host two technical seminars entitled “Telecom Outsource in China/Customer Solution Integration Services” and “Ajax - not just your average cleaning product, but what is it? Trends and Directions for smarter webpages” at the Haggard Library in Plano, Texas (2501 Coit Road, Plano, TX 75075, Tel: 972.769.4250) on Saturday, June 24, 2006. The first session will be “Telecom Outsource in China” from 1:30-2:30 PM. Mr. Tony Chang will be sharing his experience regarding telecom business opportunities in China and customer solution integration services. Tony has worked for Nortel since 1987. He is not only a genuine and passionate leader in the R&D domain, but also serves as the Design Authority of Test Environment in the CTO board. In 2003, Tony was appointed as the China Outsourcing prime for Nortel and during this period he has had the opportunity to work with some China local contractor firms and gained more visibility of the China Outsourcing capability and future strategy. The second session “Ajax” will start at 2:45 PM-3:45 PM. Mr. James Appleyard will lead in the discussion of the next wave in surfing the web brings a new dimension to the level of interaction we will see from websites. Ajax is a technology that allows for an embedded level of communication from inside a webpage. It is going to revolutionize the way we use the internet. A broad look at this technology will be described and a discussion of the future and impact of the ways we will continue to use the web. Mr. James Appleyard, a Senior IT Specialist with 8 years of experience, is currently positioned at IBM's Global Solution Center in Dallas, TX. James started his career at IBM Global Services Australia as a C++ developer and has been architecting and designing cross industry solutions using Java and IBM Websphere Portal Server for the last 6 Years.
