2005 Career Assessment for Professionals

On March 19, 2005, the Chinese Institute of Engineers Dallas/Fort Worth Area Chapter hosted a public technique seminar entitled 'Innovation and Technical Leadership'. The event was held at the Maribelle Davis Library in Plano, Texas.

“Innovation and Technical Leadership” Presented by Dr. Uming Ko. The latest wireless technology OMAP™ products are successfully used in 3G Wireless handsets, Dr. Ko presented the key factors for OMAP™ products, discussed how to achieve the most competitive system solutions and better 3G multimedia networks by using these factors.

c) All-in-one Entertainment Architecture

The presentation gave the attendees valuable insights into the innovative changes in wireless communication business.

Dr. Uming Ko is a TI Fellow, and Director of Chip Technology Center in the Wireless Terminal Business Unit of Texas Instruments. Dr. Ko is a well known expert in the field of low-power technology for battery-operated end equipments.

Joe Jeng, Chairman, board of directors of CIE-DFW presented the plaque to Dr. Uming Ko.
