Asian American Chamber Newsbrief to offer New Scholarships
at The Dallas County Community College District
“(Dallas) * The Dallas County Community College District Foundation, through the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, is offering seven scholarships that are available for area Asian American high seniors who are interested in attending one of the system’s seven campuses: Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake and Richland. Each one-year, $1,400 scholarship will pay for tuition and books, up to $700 per semester. Interested students must send their scholarship applications postmarked no later than March 31, 2006, for the 2006-2007 academic year. Recipients, whose names will be announced by the DCCCD Foundation after applicants are selected, must attend GDAACC’s annual education banquet on April 26 to receive their awards. ”
