Director: Project Management Office *Developing PMO work processes based on best practices including: Planning, program/project execution & control Developing IT standards, policies and procedures including ITIL Monitoring issues and related risks Reporting dashboard status *Developing & implementing of project management training & tool administration. Providing project oversight to all IT project managers to ensure projects are managed in a standardized and successful manner. Directing the staffing, training, development, goal setting, and performance evaluations of the project management team. Ensure project business case analyses are completed & financials are tracked. Managing the flow of projects into the overall IT work plan, driving resource management accountability. Managing the overall IT project portfolio, and prepare materials for senior management review and approval. Being accountable for Financial & Asset Management across IT, budgets, forecasting and analysis of the expense & capital budget. Requirements: Minimum of ten (10) years of IT systems experience including five plus (5+) years in IT Program/Project Management and IT Financial Management. Strong people management skills are also needed. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience is required. Master's Degree or MBA is preferred. A thorough understanding of PMO Design, Development & Implementation Work Processes, Deliverables, & Tools, in addition to IT Financial analysis capabilities is required. This position also requires a strong working knowledge around Microsoft Project, Office Suite, and Sharepoint as well as knowledge of functional support in one of the following areas: Accounting, Purchasing or Legal. *A PMP Certification and previous experience in setting up a PMO office is strongly preferred. |
